This is the kind of film Dharma Keerthiraj was looking for a different image in his career. He has done it with hard work and sensible ideas are brought in my director Mahesh Chinmayi.

There is action, comedy, sentiment and a message with regard to the black money is concerned. An orphan saves the life of a responsible person in the village and that obviously gives me the first son position. That is Soorya (Dharma Keerthiraj) – in the same house there is Chandra who on wrong route in life.

Both Soorya and Chandra make a last hunt in life. It is Rs.50 crores deal – the black money of a politician that Soorya catches and he even defeats his brother Chandra as he comes to know ulterior motives.

After big chase and action Soorya settles down with the money in a village. That happens to be that of his roots. When he was young his parents were killed by Shobaraj and team. Going past to his Soorya decide to work out on a master plan.

The plan what Soorya works out is a very interesting. He spends the money for charity of his village. Even the police department also keeps quiet on such a tremendous work.

Dharma Keerthiraj is very lively and his dance, action and dialogue delivery is convincing. Praveen for the first time has done a neat job. Abhay as cop is quite OK, Shobaraj and Vinod Alva veterans presence is felt. Archana as female lead looks pretty.

There is one very good melody number from Abhiman Roy, the title track with Tribhuvan as choreographer is attractive.

CH Ramesh cinematography is good, stunts of Thriller Manju is fabulous and reminds of ‘Lock Up Death’ time.

‘Chanaksha’ is worth watching once.
